Intern (Assistant Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project team in the planning, design and day to day running of geotechnical engineering projects
• Assist to plan project schedule and keep track of project progress
• Liaise with sub-contractors and/or consultants for the execution of works
• Liaise with external vendors for submission or relevant documents to authorities when required
• Attend site meetings and facilitate subsequent communication to project in-charge and assist to resolve technical/operational issues
• Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate hazards at the workplace

Requirements

• Positive work attitude and keen to learn and explore new things
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitude
• Meticulous, organised and proactive
• Willing to work on construction sites and prepared to travel across different construction sites to monitor progress of different projects when required
• Students who are currently studying at the local polytechnics and universities and want an upcoming internship experience are welcomed to apply
