Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, and adherence to the schedule and budget on projects.
- Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
- Assists with the development of scope of work and level of effort for projects and/or assignments within discipline.
- Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team's work within the technical discipline. Guides and mentors team to overall project objectives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or
- Master's degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or
- PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience
- Performs drainage design for transportation projects, including stormwater management facility, floodplain compensation site, storm drain, ditch, culvert, bridge hydraulics, and scour analysis.
- Works in OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD Civil 3D production platforms, and use of a variety of technical design software packages (StormWise, HEC-RAS, OpenRoads Designer Drainage).
- Prepares construction and permitting documents, including reports, plans, and specifications.
- Leads and manages drainage related tasks and provide leadership and mentoring to project teams.
- Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
- Participates in project pursuits including presentations, interviews, and technical proposals.
- Develops scope of services and staff hour estimation for drainage tasks.
- Performs quality control review of deliverables.
- Coordinates work planning and design effectively across multiple technical disciplines.
- Prepares high quality deliverables that are on time, and within budget and scope.
- What We Prefer:
- 8 years relevant experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida
