Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes includes: 1) Advising senior leadership and influencing strategic decision-making regarding proposed program initiatives to impact strategic mission goals; 2) Developing long-range strategic division plans to align with command priorities; 3) Directing the evaluation of and serving as the final approval authority for functional requirements in security assistance systems, ensuring compliance with federal policies and laws; 4) Managing personnel resources and performance standards to ensure program and fiscal compliance; AND 5) Coordinating complex Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or security assistance operations across multiple federal agencies and stakeholder groups. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Decision Making Planning and Evaluating Reasoning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
