About the role
The driver primary responsibility is to ensure product gets to it destination. The driver is responsible for inspecting the vehicle daily, planning route of travel to each destination, and ensure proper paperwork is completed for their loads. They must be aware of all safety hazards, policies, guidelines, and procedures associated with operating the vehicle. Essential Functions: Delivering material in a timely manner to customers. Requirements
- Five years' experience working as a CDL driver with no legal or safety incidents on record.
- Have a Class "A" CDL license. Minimum of 3 years verifiable interstate driving experience
- Excellent safety driving record - no violations in the last 3 years.
- No at fault accidents in the last 3 years
- Pass a pre-employment physical or possess a valid medical certificate (Long Form).
- Use GPS to stay informed of route information.
- Communicate with supervisors and colleagues using CB radio and cab computer.
