As an Associate Design Director, 2D - and a future star at Jack - your task is to help conceptualise and execute stunning and creative designs based on given creative direction. You'll play a crucial supporting role in the creative process from ideation to visualisation and mock ups to executing final artwork during execution. The position: As the Associate Design Director in our brand experience agency, your task is to help conceptualise, manage and oversee visual direction of projects from ideation to completion of the graphics design department. You will be working with, managing, and overseeing design outputs from creative design resources around the region including, but not limited to, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Japan. You'll work closely with the creative team to help keep ideas and the visual language in which they are expressed, on track and on brand. The person we are looking for: Experience: 8-10 years in a creative agency, event-based industry, or design studio, with a proven track record of leading graphic design teams and managing resources (in-house and freelance). Core Design Skills: Exceptional design and layout skills with mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Proficiency in 3D software (Blender/Cinema4D) or rapid concept sketching is a major plus. AI-Fluent: Skilled at leveraging AI tools (MidJourney, etc.) to efficiently generate stunning concept visuals. Strategic & Aesthetic Vision: A sharp aesthetic eye backed by an in-depth understanding of brand positioning, industry trends, and what makes a truly great brand experience. Experiential & Digital Savvy: A deep understanding of how digital communication technology integrates into modern brand experiences, PR, and offline/online activations. Hands-on Leadership: A collaborative, ego-free approach to the creative process-equally comfortable brainstorming big ideas, pitching to clients, and rolling up your sleeves for execution. Communication & Presence: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a passion for building open, trusting relationships with clients. Cultural Curiosity: Passionate about art, design, culture, and current affairs, keeping a finger on the pulse of the media and experiential industries. The Essentials: Excellent organizational skills, fluency in written and spoken English, and currently based in Singapore.
