Concrete Quality Control Technician (Temporary)

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 4-5 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing on raw materials, aggregates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
• Collect, prepare, and analyze samples using standardized testing methods and equipment
• Record, interpret, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and support continuous improvement
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration, and cleanliness to ensure reliable testing conditions

• Demonstrated ability to follow testing procedures and maintain accurate documentation
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Comfort working with testing equipment, data entry systems, and basic analysis tools
• Adaptability and problem solving skills in a fast paced, hands on environment
• Conditions of Employment
