This role will sit within the Global Data and Technology Solutions (GDATs) organization in World Courier and is a key member of the Engineering team. We're re-imagining IT - not as a support function, but as a strategic partner to the World Courier business. As a Test Lead , you will be a key leader within Engineering, responsible for shaping and driving our testing strategy and vision - with a strong emphasis on test automation as a strategic capability. You will lead a team of testing engineers in India, while collaborating closely with development teams, product managers, and other testing organizations Why this role matters As members of Engineering, we are collectively accountable for building a strong organization and raising the bar on quality. Quality is not a gate at the end of delivery - it is a force multiplier that improves predictability, reliability, and speed. To realize that ambition, we need a dedicated testing leader who can own the testing strategy, drive our automation journey, and build a team and culture where quality engineering is a craft.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the testing strategy across functional, performance, automation, and security testing, with a clear emphasis on automation-first practices that improve coverage, speed, and release confidence.
  • Lead and grow a team of testing engineers in India, building a culture of quality, accountability, learning, and craftsmanship.
  • Own test planning, readiness, execution, and results across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring risks, tradeoffs, and priorities are managed with clarity and discipline.
  • Partner closely with development teams, product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to embed quality early and make testing an integrated part of delivery.
  • Drive the adoption of modern quality engineering practices, including automated testing, shift-left approaches, CI/CD-aligned testing, and DevSecOps-minded quality controls.
  • Establish testing standards, metrics, and governance that improve visibility into coverage, defect trends, automation adoption, execution efficiency, and overall quality health.
  • Manage defect triage, root-cause analysis, and test-related escalations to ensure issues are surfaced early and resolved effectively.
  • Work across a complex transportation and logistics environment to improve testability, reliability, and release quality for the systems the business depends on every day.

Job Details Minimum 8 + Years of experience required plus 3 Years in to management capacity. G ood at coordinating/planning to execute test projects, define & implement test strategy, engage EA if needed for technologies, work closely with ISO & automation test team on delivering security & automation testing.
