About the role

Material Coordinators ensure the efficient and continuous flow of materials between different departments and Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) Sites according to supply demand and schedule. Material Coordinator's duties include but are not limited to material handling equipment, asset handling, inventory control, receiving, shipping, and Test, Measurement, Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration, repair, & certification support, according to established internal processes, procedures, and Performance Work Statements (PWS) that are derived from Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force Instruction (AFI), Military Standard (MIL-STD) guidelines and policies. This all falls under the Data Transport Product Support Sustainment Logistics Maintenance (DSLM) Support Services 5-year contract, 22 March 2024 - 22 September 2029.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have the ability to obtain/maintain an active DOD Secret security clearance
  • Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma / GED.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehousing or logistics.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
  • Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software.
  • Basic understanding and operational skills using basic data entry and email (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, etc.).
  • Prior relevant experience in inventory/stock control or material handling role.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a mandatory 30-minute lunch.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and be a Team Player.
