This role offers flexible working hours ranging from 12 to 50 hours per week, with a competitive rate. You will be at the forefront of managing acutely ill patients, ensuring timely and effective care. You will lead the initial assessment and treatment of patients admitted to the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans. Your role will involve supervising junior doctors, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of clinical practice. You will also participate in ward rounds, contribute to the development of clinical protocols, and engage in teaching and training activities for medical students and junior staff. Additionally, you will be involved in clinical audits and research projects to continuously improve patient care and outcomes. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in delivering exceptional acute medical services and enhancing the overall patient experience
