About the role

Job Requirement Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering Accredited RE IES/ACES as C&S Resident Engineers (RE) A minimum of four (4) years of relevant engineering experience, particularly in the supervision of civil infrastructure works or similar projects. Strong analytical abilities, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Independent and organized, with a positive work attitude. Kindly submit the updated CV along with a copy of the RE Certificate, BCSS and LTA Construction Safety Management course for QSS. Job Description Ensure the contractor adheres to safety and quality standards in compliance with statutory requirements. Review project drawings and specifications, raising any discrepancies or potential issues with the appointed Qualified Person and project consultants/clients. Supervise the project to verify that all work aligns with project specifications, construction drawings, and the Building Control Act and Regulations. Oversee all aspects of project construction, maintaining and submitting comprehensive records. Manage and supervise Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) to ensure they provide effective site supervision. To take turn with RTO for night work supervision as and when necessary. Review contractor submissions, work method statements, and work demonstrations. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve discrepancies to prevent delays. Attend site meetings, identify potential problems, and recommend solutions. Perform other ad hoc duties as directed.
