Responsibilities

  • As a Sustainability Engineer in our Queensland Buildings Sustainability team based in Br isbane , you'll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
  • Undertake energy modelling and building simulations to inform sustainability outcomes of built form and enhance building performance for energy, carbon , water and thermal comfort.
  • Convey findings of building simulation to a dvise clients on design modifications from concept to delivery .
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges .
  • Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions .

Requirements

  • Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in Mechanical Engineering . This is an early career role. Evidence of a minimum of two years of experience is required.
  • Early career experience in Building Simulation using IES or similar energy modelling software.
  • Appetite to focus your career on the technical aspects of sustainability including energy modelling, daylight, carbon and water.
  • Strong communication , collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills .
  • The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions .
