About the role

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Equipment Maintenance Tech at MKS, you will partner with the equipment services personnel as well as with multiple other business functions to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will report to the Sr Supervisor of Equipment Services. You Will Make an Impact By: - Performing electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process, along with equipment software and hardware systems - Providing maintenance to equipment according to layout plans, blue prints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. - Providing daily sustaining to manufacturing lines. - Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of Travel is required. Skills You Bring: - Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required - 2+ years of related experience required - May require experience in testing digital and/or analog systems Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time - Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination - Occasionally moves/positions objects up to [INSERT] pounds - Ability to remain in a stationary position for [INSERT]% of the time - Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level - Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level Globally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
