Requirements

  • BA/BS in Environmental Science, or related field, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • 2+ years of experience in the Industrial Hygiene / Hazardous Building Materials industry.
  • Asbestos, Lead, and/or 40‑hr HAZWOPER certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office and other commonly used computer programs preferred.

  • Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Ability to work in fast‑paced environments, various weather conditions, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% regionally and work nights or weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving history, and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to wear a respirator, safety harness, and required PPE.

We are seeking a dynamic Environmental Building Sciences Field Technician to join our Woburn, MA office . Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Building Sciences Field Technician : Conduct hazardous materials surveys, including asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, other hazardous materials, and indoor air quality. Provide oversight of contaminated site remediation and hazardous building materials abatement. Prepare field notes, photographs, and perform analysis and interpretation of field and analytical data. Prepare technical reports for hazardous materials for site assessments. Support emergency response services, communicate and collaborate with others, manage workloads and records, implement health & safety policies, and travel.
