Facility: Dayton Children's - Main Campus Department: Quality Assurance Division Schedule: Full time Hours: 40 Job Details: Works under limited supervision and in collaboration with the Quality Director. Responsible for maintaining the files and data archives for the Quality Department. Provides support to the Quality Director. Assists the Quality Director and Manager with scheduling of meetings, data retrieval and report distribution. The Quality Project Coordinator Non-Clinical (QPC-NC) is involved with maintaining systems such as Microsoft Excel database files, risk management / incident reports, Crystal Reports, Visio, policies, API, and other filing systems including electronic and hard copy file storage and retrieval systems. Participates in the creation and organization of all documents utilizing performance improvement tools and methodologies. The QPC-NC shall assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, taking and transcribing meeting minutes, coordination of meeting activities as needed by the Quality Director or Manager. The QPC-NC shall provide administrative and clerical support for all regulatory activities including surveys by the Joint Commission, Ohio Department of Health and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Administrative and clerical support shall also include documentation activities such as, typed reports, Excel file preparation, preparation and maintenance of audit files, policies, and ad hoc reports as needed. The QPC-NC provides administrative support for activities relating to quality for other departments. Assists with assigned Quality Department initiatives such as the Dayton Children's Intermediate Quality Improvement Course sponsored by the Chief Medical Officer working collaboratively with all pertinent staff members. Works independently with minimal supervision providing support to the Quality Management Systems department as well as others within and outside of Dayton Children's as directed by the Quality Director.
