Pre-analytical Laboratory Executive (Day shift)

Responsibilities

• Pre-Testing Processes:
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient biological specimen collection, handling, transportation, and receiving.
• Collaborate with the collection sites to ensure the integrity, proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of incoming samples.
• Responsible for the receipt, accessioning, labeling, plasma and buffy coat collection, and storage of patient samples.
• Monitor quality control measures during the pre-analytical phase to ensure accurate and reliable test results
• Post-Testing Processes:
• Oversee the logistics in delivery of results, ensuring secure and timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate seamless data exchange by coordinating secure channels for sharing test results and relevant information, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality agreements during collaborative efforts.
• Collaborate with laboratory operations, and customer service, to streamline internal processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist laboratory manager with inventory management.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates may apply.
• Strong interest to work in a clinical laboratory.
• Comfortable and familiar in handling pipettes (must pass competency test to confirm employment).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues.
• Meticulous attention to details, especially in documentation and record-keeping.
• Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work within cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to stay updated on best practices related to logistics and operations.

We are expanding our new oncology hub in Singapore, and are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Preanalytical Lab Executive I to join our team. The Preanalytical Lab Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of all pre-analytical processes of an NGS laboratory. This role involves sample collection, accessioning, managing logistics efficiency, inventory management, storage, and result delivery, ensuring compliance with quality standards to facilitate seamless operations. This is a junior position intended for fresh graduates. Working hours: able to work shift Working hours are: able to work shift Option 1: 9am -6pm or 2 pm - 10 pm Monday - Friday Option 2: 11-8 pm Tuesday - Friday (or 2-10pm) and Sat 9 am -5 pm This position is open only to Singapore Citizens or Singapore PRs Salary range: 2800$-3000$ + monthly bonus This position is open only to Singapore Citizens or Singapore PRs.
