About the role
To assist with the day-to-day clinical care and management of patients undergoing coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventional procedures. To assist in the management of patients attending the structural heart disease clinics and to undertake teaching and research duties within the Cardiology Unit To assist with coronary angiography, coronary interventions (PCI) and cardiac catheterisation as required. Attend the Structural Heart Disease Clinic and assist in the management of patients referred to the Structural Heary Disease Clinic To assist with clinical care of allocated patients and participate in setting the standards for high quality clinical practice within the Department. Use resources in a responsible manner having regard to patient priority and need. Ensure that there is prompt communication with other relevant clinicians and health care providers. Other clinical duties as directed by the Director of Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory. Classifications for this position will range from HM25 - HM30 ($129,048.40 - $177,622.12) Pro rata for part-time Full Time, Fixed Term. February 2027 until February 2028 Your Contribution MBBS or equivalent RACP part 1 exams and completed three core years of RACP approved training in cardiology or its equivalent Registration with AHPRA Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
