Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee installation, startup, and testing of new automation systems. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and facilities teams for system upgrades and commissioning activities
- Documentation & Standards: Write engineering standards, Scope of work documents and ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
- Instrumentation & Field devices: Specify, calibrate, and integrate sensors such as PH, Flow, Temperature, etc.
- Networking: Understand the basics of a OT network and be able to troubleshoot issues.
- PLC Programming: Develop and maintain PLC logic primarily Schnieder and Emerson PLCs for high availability systems
- SCADA: Maintain and develop the Ignition SCADA system. Integrate systems with complex architectures
- Bachelor's degree in instrument & control system engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relative education and background with a minimum of 3 years experiences in instrument & control operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot low voltage controls wiring
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Schneider PLC and Ignition HMI Software.
- Ignition certification core/gold
- Understand Mechanical systems
- This role will work on site in Roseville, CA.
- This position generally works Monday-Friday, additional hours as necessary
