Responsibilities

• Supporting MDA Space Capabilities office (DCS), and specifically the DSS program
• Collaborating with the government team, including other FFRDC, UARC, and SETA personnel, to ensure mission success
• Evaluating and assisting contractor and subcontractor performance regarding space vehicle design and development
• Supporting other DSS space segment and general DCS activities as needed

• Minimum Requirements for Project Engineer - Enterprise Systems Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate technical discipline from a recognized institution
• 8 or more years of professional experience in space vehicle systems engineering
• Knowledge and experience in the design and development of space vehicle systems
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers
• Effective oral and written communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with all levels of Aerospace, government, and contractor personnel
• Some travel is required
• This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
• In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for Sr. Project Engineer - Enterprise Systems Engineering include :
• 12 or more years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated significant programmatic impact in past roles
• Experience leading teams and coordinating efforts across project lines

We are looking for a Space Vehicle Systems Engineer (Project Engineer/Sr. Project Engineer - Enterprise Systems Engineering) to be embedded with our customer, primarily in support of the DSS demonstration program. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO
