Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION: This position is responsible for creating reports, insights and analytics in support of the division; creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs; possibly providing consultation to users and working on cross functional teams to address the divisions issues; producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools; possibly performing research and assisting in analyzing data related to the division*s strategic initiatives and broader research needs; interfacing between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools to be leveraged in building analysis and reports which are actionable within the business environment; working closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of the division*s data in order to meet business needs; analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers; identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Job Purpose: This position is responsible for providing support for enterprise quality and analytics function in creating reports, providing insights and developing analytics related to Healthcare Employer Data Information Set (HEDIS) reporting, Quality Rating System (QRS) reporting, state specific reporting and other tasks associated with quality metrics reporting in support of the division; creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs; working on cross-functional teams to address the division issues; producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools; may perform research and assisting in analyzing data related to the division strategic initiatives and broader research needs; interfacing between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools to be leveraged in building analysis and reports which are actionable within the business environment; working closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of the division data in order to meet business needs; assisting in analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers; assisting with identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. 1. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc. 8. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. 9. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business. 10. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested. JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor Degree OR 2 years' experience in data analysis and information reporting data. * Build knowledge of division, business processes and customers. * Assist in solving a range of problems. * Assist with possible solutions using standard procedures to solve routine or basic problems. * Assist in producing data sets and reports for analysis using SQL, Excel or other reporting tools. * Verify accuracy of reports and provide insights with guidance. * Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. * Learn needed skills by performing assigned work.
