About the role

We're hiring a Coordinator, Digital Distribution & Licensing to work directly with our VP, Digital and TV. You'll sit at the intersection of our sales, licensing, and reporting workflows owning avails administration, overseeing the reporting that drives senior decisions, and helping to keep our partner relationships running smoothly. This is a role for someone organized and analytical who's ready to build a career in digital media operations and content licensing. You'll work closely with external partners (SVOD, AVOD, TVOD), internal teams (Deliveries, Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal), and the VP on everything from slate strategy to day-to-day operations. Knowledge of films & the film landscape in relation to this role is a must. Role Scope & Structure Reporting Line Reports to: VP, Digital and TV Direct Reports: None Key Cross-Functional Relationships: Deliveries, Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal Key Responsibilities Licensing & Avails Management (40%) Partner Communication: Manage ongoing dialogue with licensors and SVOD and AVOD licensing partners regarding title availability windows and deal terms Licensing Avails Administration: Work with Business Affairs to compile avails. Organize, and maintain received title avails data from multiple partners; ensure accuracy and timeliness of availability windows Licensing Avails Decks: Build and maintain a systematized process for preparing avails decks for partner pitches and internal use Deliveries Team Collaboration: Work closely with the internal Deliveries team to coordinate title delivery schedules, resolve data inconsistencies, and ensure seamless handoffs between avails management and delivery operations Internal Coordination: Brief internal teams (marketing, sales, legal, finance) on licensing updates, track milestones for payment and content rollout timelines Canadian Content Documentation: Maintain centralized documentation for Canadian Content titles including scripts, finance plans, and budgets. Project Support: Coordinate title rollout processes, partner onboarding workflows, and transactional campaign launches Ancillary Sales Support: Support sales activity across airline, hotel, and non-theatrical channels under VP direction Account Coordination for Select Partners: Manage day-to-day communication and operational needs for a subset of direct clients Reporting & Dashboard Management (40%) Dashboard Management: Maintain existing dashboards for digital, SVOD, and AVOD business KPIs (viewership, engagement, revenue, partner performance), with the opportunity to build new dashboards as the role evolves Regular Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for VP and senior leadership Data Compilation: Gather and synthesize data from multiple sources (platforms, partners, internal systems) into actionable insights Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support VP with data requests, deck preparation, and ad-hoc reporting needs Cross-Functional Coordination & Administrative Support (20%) Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing workflows and propose and implement streamlined processes Record Management: Maintain organized systems for licensing agreements, partner communications, and historical data Industry Events: Coordinate meeting schedules and logistics for industry festivals and partner events Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Media, Finance, or a related field - or equivalent experience Experience: 1-3 years in operations, project coordination, business analysis, or administrative roles Skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formula-based analysis Attributes Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving media environment Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in media, entertainment, or digital distribution Familiarity with licensing models (SVOD, AVOD, TVOD) Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar) Knowledge of content distribution platforms or workflows Experience managing external partnerships or vendor relationships Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Healthcare Spending Account Group Life - AD&D - Critical Illness Office closure during Christmas holiday incremental to vacation days Hybrid work model in office 3 days a week (Mon/Tues/Wed) An entry point into the Canadian film distribution industry with hands-on learning and mentorship from experienced professionals A collaborative, film-first culture with a passionate and close-knit team Compensation Compensation for this role is CAD $55,000 annually Vacancy This posting is for an existing, op
