As the Deputy Assistant Director of Operations, you will serve as a strategic and operational leader for the Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DSDHH). You will provide high‑level oversight across division operations, ensuring that DSDHH functions efficiently, responsibly, and in alignment with our mission to serve Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities statewide. In this role, you will directly oversee the division's key operational areas, including budgeting, human resources, IT, event coordination, staff development, and emergency preparedness for both headquarters and regional offices. Staff members in these departments will rely on your leadership for guidance, collaboration, and informed decision-making. Beyond daily operations, your strategic insight will shape the overall effectiveness of the division. You will monitor and continuously improve the quality and impact of planning, events, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and data collection. You will establish performance metrics and key indicators that align operations with organizational goals and outcomes-helping elevate both internal performance and the services we provide to the communities who depend on us. Compliance and accountability will also be core elements of your leadership. You will assist with managing the division's budget with integrity, uphold organizational standards, and ensure safe, productive work environments. You will develop, evaluate, and refine policies and procedures, conducting internal reviews to identify what is working and what needs to change.
