About the role

In this role, you will act as the vertical leader for Construction & Infrastructure, defining where and how we win in the market. You will guide regional teams, identify growth opportunities, and ensure our solutions align with how buying decisions are made across the industry. You will work closely with business development teams, sales, and product functions - activating and enabling execution while maintaining a strong strategic focus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the global growth strategy for the Construction & Infrastructure vertical
  • Drive market penetration across infrastructure segments including utilities, treatment plants, and construction projects
  • Build and strengthen key account relationships with major customers, contractors, and specifying engineers
  • Identify, prioritize, and guide high-value opportunities across regions
  • Activate and enable regional BDM and sales teams to pursue and convert opportunities
  • Provide strategic direction on where and how to win, based on deep understanding of industry buying dynamics
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and R&D to shape value propositions and solutions
  • Share market insights, trends, and competitive intelligence to influence business strategy
  • Support global coordination of key accounts and major project pursuits

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar
  • Significant experience in commercial leadership, strategic sales, or business development in a global context
  • Strong knowledge of the Construction & Infrastructure industry, including utilities and treatment plants
  • Proven understanding of how buying decisions are made in construction (e.g. contractors, EPCs, specifying engineers)
  • Experience with water treatment, pumping solutions, or related technologies
  • Strong commercial acumen, including solution/value-based selling
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels across regions
  • Experience working in complex, international matrix organizations
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Fluent English required
