- Maintain accurate employee records and use HRIS systems for reporting and analytics.
- Contribute to broader HR projects and process improvements as assigned.
- What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role and any experience in a unionized manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, grievance procedures, and labor-management relations.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and applying progressive discipline consistently and fairly.
- Familiarity with California employment laws and regulations is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems; Workday experience is a plus.
- Experience with payroll/timekeeping systems and related processes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills; ability to build credibility with both bargaining unit employees and management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment and to maintain confidentiality and sound judgment.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
- Physical/Other Requirements
- Onsite presence at the Pico Rivera facility required; ability to move around production areas and attend meetings across shifts.
- Flexible schedule may be needed to support multiple shifts and urgent labor relations matters.
