Expression Of Interest Mechanical and Electrical Trade - Wetherill Park

About the role

We are seeking registration for qualified Mechanical Fitter and Electrician positions around Wetherill Park. NSW. In general, the candidates will provide support for site operational breakdown, maintenance and continuous improvement. Seeking innovative solutions and perform tests on equipment by the standards and procedures of quality, safety, and environment to ensure the elimination of defects. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspections
• Improve workforce productivity by eliminating potential delays by technical support and fault finding of mechanical issues.
• Partner with others on shift to provide solutions to production issues.
• Active participation in Continuous Improvement and ad-hoc projects
• Develop and implement safe systems of work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required
• About you
• Australian Trade Certificate and Qualification
• Proven experience in industrial setting, ideally in manufacturing environment
• PLC fault finding & SCADA knowledge (preferred for automation role)
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and P&ID's
