Accountant

Requirements

• ACCA or Degree in Accounting or equivalent recognised professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a full Accountant role with responsibilities in general ledger, financial reporting and month-end/year-end closing.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, tax, GST, and audit process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Autocount and Xero will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently.

Additional Information

Job Responsibilities Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger and financial records. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and sustainability-related reports where required. Perform AP and AR functions. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to facilitate business decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements. Support external and internal audits, as well as corporate tax and GST preparation, computation, and submission. Monitor intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Partner with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic finance initiatives. Maintain effective internal controls and support risk management initiatives. Lead inventory stock counts and ensure the accuracy of inventory records. Identify opportunities to improve finance processes.
