About the role

We're looking for a highly organised, proactive and commercially minded Executive Assistant to join our Executive Office, supporting our Group CEO. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced EA or senior PA who is looking to broaden their scope, gain exposure to strategic business priorities and play a key role at the heart of one of the UK's most exciting retail transformation stories. Working closely with the CEO and alongside the CEO's Personal Assistant, you'll help ensure leadership priorities are aligned, key initiatives continue to move forward and the CEO's time is focused on the areas that matter most. This is far more than a traditional diary management role. You'll be a trusted coordinator, problem solver and organiser, helping drive progress across a fast-paced, dynamic business where no two days are ever the same. What You'll Be Doing As part of the Executive Office, you'll play a central role in supporting the CEO and wider leadership team by: Working closely with the CEO and CEO's Personal Assistant to coordinate priorities, meetings and key leadership activities Helping manage the CEO's engagements and internal interactions to ensure focus remains on critical business priorities Preparing high-quality briefing documents, presentations and reports for leadership meetings, strategic discussions and business reviews Tracking progress against key business initiatives and ensuring actions are followed through to completion Supporting the organisation and coordination of Executive Leadership Team meetings, including agenda planning and action tracking Acting as a central point of coordination across departments on topics requiring CEO visibility or input Supporting the delivery of cross-functional projects and business initiatives on behalf of the CEO Monitoring updates across the business and providing concise summaries and briefings where required Assisting with internal communications and leadership updates Coordinating leadership sessions, strategy meetings and executive off-sites Bringing structure, organisation and accountability to key priorities and workstreams What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys operating at pace and is confident working with senior stakeholders across the business. You'll bring: Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or senior Personal Assistant supporting C-suite leadership Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence preparing professional presentations, reports and briefing materials Excellent attention to detail and the ability to track multiple projects, actions and workstreams A high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to anticipate needs and remove blockers The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly Excellent time management and prioritisation skills Working With Us At Debenhams Group, pace is everything.
