Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron Malaysia Limited (CML) is accepting online applications for the position of Assistant II, Operations located in Pulau Indah Terminal, Malaysia through July 7, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Malaysia Time). Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Executes the following operational activities and comply with OE/HES policy, standard and procedure: Inventory management: Run Sales report in SAP to obtain volume by product, channel and customer. Perform meter log reconciliation by comparing meter log records vs SAP report, determine the reasons and justification for adjustment if required. Update FuelFacs on tank gauging reading, temperature, sale, receiving and density. Liaise with hauler on daily truck availability / breakdowns / no ullage situation /revised ETA. Document all trucking issues - breakdowns, late delivery, customers' complaints. Check and validate the manual claim submitted by hauler - hauler rate, distance, quantity, fuel surcharge. Provide analytical support to Terminal leadership team, including KPI for hauler etc. Daily reports: Complete daily reports such as daily truck's performance (truck's utilization), BCP workbook update (Lifting volume vs orders) as per SMM and update hauler non-performance charges i.e trucks/driver's issues, diversion, delivery delayed etc. Review security log book record of DN vs delivery list. Order Planning / Scheduling: Stewarding planner in daily delivery scheduling (SMM & AR template) in optimizing the drivers and trucks. Monitoring daily lifting and not to exceed subsidy quota for border and non-border site. Review delivery schedule (hardcopy/SMM) for trucks optimization and avoiding customer's stock out or no ullage. Monitor and review daily delivery schedule on the driver working hours, distance driven & turnaround time and tank truck performance. Verify delivery schedule vs due list (VL10G) and AR planning data. Track and follow up with hauler to ensure all deliveries are loaded and leave on time. Tank Truck Loading & Stewarding: Generate Filling Advice Notice (FAN) in FuelFacs as per product / quantity ordered. Ensuring the product and quantity match with the truck's compartment capacity. Stewarding drivers in performing tank truck loading operations by verifying the data in trip creation instruction corresponds with the FAN. Delivery note and invoicing: Perform Loading confirmation, delivery confirmation, invoices and promptly issued to the driver upon completed loading. Assign, issue and record truck's security seal for each delivery note. Communicate, perform adjustment/reversal for diversion or return load in SAP in timely manner. Maintain filling system of credit note, original DN and manual DN. Communication with stake holders: Coordinate with Customer Service Center on load/delivery changes or other related delivery issues. Communicate with Business Consultant on diversions, waiting at customer site and any other issues within the shift. Follow up on missing acknowledgement DN with hauler and retailer. Participate in Safety Meetings, Stand Downs, Human Organizational Performance (HOP), Safeguards Learning Tools (SLT), Lean Six Sigma as white belt, 5S initiative/housekeeping works, fire drills, quarterly security drills, yearly oil spill drill and all other operational meeting as and when required. Participate in all scheduled training and utilize learned skills in the fulfilment of day-to-day activities. Perform any other duties as assigned by Lead Operator, Operations Supervisor, and Operations Manager. Follow the existing job scope Adding terminal operation activities as part of the responsibilities; these include marine cargo receipt and other day-to-day operations. Required Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Petroleum Engineering (preferred) or another Engineering discipline Preferably 1-2 years' experience in terminal storage operations Willing to work on a 3-shift cycle Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia Able to manage a team, manage customer focus, and good time management skills Team player and good communications skills Good computer skill sets Able to work independently Relocation Options: Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters. International Considerations: Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
