Responsibilities
- Global Tax Leadership
- Oversee all tax related matters with the assistance of the U.S. based Tax Manager, international controllers, and third-party tax advisors (domestic and international)

- Manage intercompany agreements and defend positions in audits
- International Tax & Structuring
- Advise on tax-efficient structuring of global operations, IP ownership, and intercompany financing
- Support expansion into new markets
- Monitor and respond to global tax developments (e.g., OECD Pillar Two, BEPS initiatives)
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Treasury, Customer Operations teams
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, (CPA, JD, or MST strongly preferred)
- 15+ years of progressive tax experience, including 4+ years in transfer pricing support, as well as: U.S. and international tax rules, S-Corps, Passthrough Entity Taxes, ASC 740 / tax accounting , OECD guidelines and BEPS initiative
- Experience in a global software / technology company strongly preferred
- Proven ability to operate at executive level and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams
- InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.
- Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
