Stock Controller Operations - Taiko Acton- BONSAI Contract: Full Time Salary: £13.71 Contracted Hours: Established in 1997 as the first manufacturer of sushi for the UK supermarket industry, Taiko has evolved into the most innovative manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK, supplying Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury's to name a few. Over the past 25 years Taiko has launched more first to market Sushi and Food to Go products than any other sushi manufacturer in the UK. Our people are at the heart of what we do:- You will be a role model, have an appetite for success and a real thirst for delivering exceptional results.- You will be ambitious and hungry to learn.- You will always strive to do your best.- You will be enthusiastic and have a positive disposition.- You will embrace challenges head on, with a willing can-do attitude.- You will want to be part of our success story Key Responsibilities:- ï'- Record accurate inventory records using Excel spreadsheet along with BBD dates / quantities available inthe Production / Warehouse locations.ï'- Record any stock items damaged or nearing its expiry Operational Dutiesï'- Ensure proper storage and labelling of products are done by the production teamï'- Follow FIFO principles (especially for perishable or dated items)ï'- Complete inventory reports for management (usage, variances, expired items)ï'- Submit the report on online team's folder before end of shiftï'- Manage damaged, expired, or obsolete stock Compliance & Controlï'- Prevent loss, theft, or misplacement of stockï'- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standardsï'- Work closely with Inventory Controller, warehouse, production and labelling teams
