Full Stack - Junior Engineer (Python/React) - Ankara, TR

About the role

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to help build high-performance backend systems that support AI-driven workflows and large-scale data processing. You'll work on distributed services, APIs, and core infrastructure powering mission-critical products. This role requires strong backend fundamentals, Python experience, and a willingness to learn how to think in systems, not just endpoints.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services in Python
• Contribute to APIs and microservices with clean, maintainable abstractions
• Work with datasets and asynchronous processing pipelines
• Improve performance, reliability, and observability
• Participate in system design discussions and learn from senior engineers
• Collaborate closely with frontend and AI/ML engineers
• Write production-quality, testable, secure code
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve

Requirements

• Core Requirements
• 0-2 years of backend engineering experience
• Experience with Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar)
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and backend development principles
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Eagerness to learn system design, scalability, and performance
• Bonus points:
• Exposure to AWS or another cloud provider
• Interest in AI/ML systems or data-intensive applications
