Senior Software Engineer / GOVT

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications, APIs, integrations, and data services.
• Own features end-to-end, from solution design and development through deployment, monitoring, and support.
• Act as the 2IC to the Tech Lead by providing technical mentorship, conducting code reviews, and maintaining engineering standards; step in as acting Tech Lead when required.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality user-centric solutions.
• Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, Agile delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Min. 6 years of full stack software engineering experience with strong backend development skills and proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React)
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, databases, and scalable web applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and DevOps best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership potential through mentoring, leading workstreams, or supporting technical decision-making.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.
• Product mindset with prior experience serving as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or 2IC in an engineering team
