Role Summary Assist the Relationship Banker(s) in client coverage and origination for Global Subsidiary Relationships (GSB) based in the West India region. These would cover subsidiaries of our global clients from the US, EMEA, and Asia. The role would entail working together with the Senior RM in: Managing day-to-day coverage, execution, and servicing for a portfolio of existing relationships and deepening engagement. Exploring the white space of prospect names and onboarding new relationships to grow the GSB West India franchise. Contributing strategic insights and market benchmarking for the development and direction of the GSB business in India. Supporting the achievement of hard financial targets and other sales KPIs around quality of origination and client management as assigned for the West India GSB business. Primary Responsibilities Strategic Ideate and contribute beyond the immediate remit, bringing in strategic and global perspectives to build and transform the franchise for the better. Identify and recommend areas of improvement. Look for efficiencies in internal processes and transaction execution. Facilitate market benchmarking and streamlining of products, processes, risk frameworks, and capabilities. Financial Support the Senior RM in delivering financial KPIs including GOP/NOP, Product and Network Cross-sell, RoE, LD Gap, Asset/RWA, and new onboarding targets. Maintain active client dialogue and engagement, ensuring clients see MUFG as their preferred port of call for all relevant and meaningful business opportunities. Independently manage all execution, servicing, and transaction management activities for clients. People Build strong working relationships and rapport with product and network partners, as well as other first- and second-line stakeholders, to ensure support and alignment on common goals and KPIs. Control Ensure adequate business controls around risk and compliance thresholds. Exhibit and promote a "do the right thing" culture. Closely monitor credit and operational loss incidents and work-out situations. Skills & Knowledge Good client connect and relationships, preferably in the MNC client segment. Hands-on relationship management, new origination, and transaction execution experience. Relevant product knowledge (Transaction Banking, Global Markets, Credit Risk, Regulatory Compliance). Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
