Duties and Responsibilities: - Support production and analysis of the quarterly LDTI results and annual business plan. - Support analysis of quarterly financial results to explain and communicate key drivers of results. - Perform experience studies to facilitate the valuation basis review and actuarial analysis on current inforce business to understand the historical experience. - Support implementation of valuation models using actuarial valuation systems (Prophet). - Assist in developing, maintaining, and / or reviewing actuarial models for assigned blocks of business for both valuation and embedded value purposes. - Support in annual Principles-Based initiatives such as Embedded Value and PBEC (Economic Capital) projects etc. - Assist in production of the annual Taiwan regulatory filing. - Support IFRS 17 and US GAAP Targeted Improvement implementations in Taiwan. - Provide actuarial support on any special or ad hoc projects.
