Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software such as ESRI ArcGIS Suite, ArcSDE, or similar geospatial applications. Knowledge of cartographic principles, geospatial analysis, mapping techniques, and spatial data management. Experience compiling, maintaining, updating, and analyzing GIS or geospatial databases. Ability to produce GIS products, maps, cartographic displays, reports, and spatial analysis products. Experience performing GIS spatial queries, data analysis, and interpretation of geospatial information. Knowledge of GPS, surveying concepts, field data collection methods, and digital mapping systems. Ability to analyze technical requirements and develop GIS-based solutions supporting engineering, facilities, environmental, or planning projects. Skill in utilizing automated systems, databases, scanners, and GIS-related software and technologies. Ability to communicate technical GIS information effectively both orally and in writing with customers, engineers, contractors, and management. Valid state driver's license required for conducting field work, site visits, and data collection activities.
