Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle ownership
  • Own onboarding paperwork end-to-end for all global hires: contract prep, new hire data collection, equipment and access coordination
  • Run pre-boarding communications: welcome packs, Day 1 schedule, equipment shipping , account provisioning timelines
  • Maintain new hire trackers and ensure our HRIS is the single source of truth for global headcount
  • Run off-boarding: resignation/termination documents, final pay coordination, access removal checklist, laptop handover, knowledge transfer, exit interviews
  • Compliance and documentation
  • Coordinate with legal counsel to issue compliant contracts and amendments.
  • Maintain country-specific policy templates: PTO, sick leave, maternity/paternity, code of conduct, disciplinary procedures
  • Track medical exam compliance and renewals
  • Own employee document retention across countries; ensure mandatory training assignments are completed on time
  • Payroll and benefits support
  • Liaise with payroll providers in LATAM for monthly cycles, change requests, and salary slip distribution
  • Coordinate benefits enrolment (e.g. health insurance, etc) and renewals
  • Track relocation packages for incoming hires
  • HR Data & Reporting
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc HR reports (headcount, absence, turnover, etc.)
  • Analyse HR metrics to support decision-making and identify trends
  • Cross-region support
  • Help translate and adapt policies between Spanish and English

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience in an HR/People coordinator role
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with HR data, reporting, or HR systems
  • Exposure to payroll processes
  • Experience working in international fast-paced environments, ideally in fintech or consumer tech startups
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus)
