Purpose and role of job: The Operational Technology (OT) and Information Security (IS) Leader is a divisional leadership role that requires an individual with a strong technical background, as well as an ability to work with the IT, operations management, and IS organizations to align priorities and plans with key business objectives. This position is responsible for the OT security strategy required in manufacturing areas, leadership to manufacturing system support team and technical guidance to operations team for any OT initiatives. Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead Efforts in establishing and maintaining an OT environment within the manufacturing operations Assist in defining the division OT network design in alignment with corporate standards and policies. Assist in establishing and maintaining an inventory of the OT assets in the manufacturing environments. Ensure IS requirements are considered/aligned during procurement and deployment of OT assets. Manage team of OT Technicians Support, Secure, Enhance and Champion OT Environment within manufacturing environments Support Participate in OT device connectivity "incident management" and triage activities. Approve requests for access/connectivity to equipment in OT Environment. Approve add/remove/change requests to OT firewall configurations. Assist with new equipment deployments to OT networks. Approve OT communication changes (eg. firewall rules). Secure Act as Information security authority for the division OT environment. Drive/perform periodic OT network access reviews - analyze data from network traffic logs and create action plans to limit risk. Investigate technology-related security issues related to OT equipment, manufacturing teams, and external parties. Coordinate OT security initiatives with manufacturing management and IT. Perform OT security risk assessments including factory self-assessments. Collaborating with site controls team to ensure end points are aligned with FQ security standards Enhance Establish a forward-looking plan to anticipate future needs of the OT Environment. Implement continuous improvement process for security. Implement controls to monitor, measure compliance, and increase the maturity of controls for OT systems. Partner with IT to implement new security infrastructure and access control solutions for the OT networks. Facilitate build, deployment, and support for current and future manufacturing system applications. Champion Guarantee alignment with rules, standards and user guidelines stated in the OTSF (Operational Technology Security Framework). Manage and report security compliance scores; create reports for management on security status. Conduct communications with factory management, translating technical requirements into business terms Conduct OT security related training for the manufacturing personnel. Lead OT initiatives for any new device or systems required in manufacturing areas. Manages vendor and contract relationships pertaining to the OT Team, ensuring the company receives maximum benefit and value. Responsible to guarantee high availability for Manufacturing System Lead the MS local support team providing a 24/7 schema support and reaching the SLA metrics for Severity 1 and 2 incidents. Qualifications/ education and experience requirements: (e.g. degrees, certificates of specific trainings) Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in the related field (Industrial, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, Information Technology), or 5+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment connectivity or similar position. Experience in operational field/factory environment. Knowledge and understanding of the Operational Technology (OT) components such as HMI, PLC, iDMZ, etc. Experience in managing deployment of cybersecurity Deep understanding of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, in particular OS, network devices, firewalls, etc. Excellent knowledge and experience of IT/OT Cybersecurity. Good knowledge of industrial engineering, manufacturing, and lean processes. Good knowledge of industrial printers, barcodes reader, PLC, IoT and wearable devices Skills/ competencies requirements: (e.g., analytical, teamwork, problem solving, ability to use certain equipment, etc.) Exceptional analytical problem solver and has training in SPC, Root Cause Analysis with demonstrated successes applying these principles. Proven record of implementing new systems and procedures. Has strong personal computer proficiency with MS Office, statistics, and design of experiments software. Data-driven, disciplined, objective and detail oriented. Passion for innovation and digitalization, creative, curious, and problem solver. Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build cross functional partnerships to make effective decisions collaborative. IT planning and/or vendor management is preferred.
