Support Coordinator / Recovery Coach

About the role

As a Support Coordinator, you will work with participants to implement their NDIS plans and coordinate services that support their recovery and wellbeing. You will collaborate with participants, families, carers, service providers and other stakeholders to help individuals achieve their goals. Recovery Coaches support participants with psychosocial disabilities in their recovery while coordinating supports in line with their NDIS plan and individual goals. The role focuses on helping participants build connections, develop relationships and strengthen support networks so they can gradually take greater responsibility for their recovery. You will need: Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience in working in a support role for people with mental health issues and Experience in the human services or related sector including individual and family support worker and intake and assessment experience Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel for the role Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check Right to Work within Australia Satisfactory National Police Records Check (less than 12 months old) NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate Wellways connects people, strengthens families, and transforms communities for individuals of all ages experiencing disabilities or challenges to their social and emotional wellbeing.
