Department: Security ______________ Company: Canary Wharf Management Limited ______________ Reporting to: Senior Intelligence Manager ______________ JOB SUMMARY The Canary Wharf Security and Resilience Department is an intelligence-led organisation. The Intelligence Team supports departmental efforts to ensure the Canary Wharf Estate and Group remain prepared, protected, and resilient from disruptive incidents. We are looking for a new team member who will play an important role in enhancing the security and resilience of the Canary Wharf Estate. The post-holder will conduct intelligence analysis, manage data, and conduct project work in support of the Team, Department, and Group. The post holder will also deputise for the Intelligence Manager as required. Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (Hybrid - with the ability to work from home 1 day a week) Salary Per Annum: £60,000 Closing Date: Sunday 12th July (subject to application response) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Threat identification and analysis, including: Horizon-scanning to identify threats to the company/Estate, using open-source research and contract services, in support of the intelligence functions. Where necessary, develop more in-depth knowledge of emerging threats through research and analysis. Monitoring and analysis of established threats to understand their changing nature and potential impact on Canary Wharf. Develop and maintain a broad understanding of a range of current affairs issues from a global to local nature with the potential to affect the operation of the Group/Estate. Provision of threat information in reports, assessments, and briefings as required. Production of regular and bespoke intelligence reporting for corporate clients and internal audience. Assist in the investigation, coordination and reporting of security incidents to ensure that they are managed appropriately and, if necessary, disseminated for further investigation. Conceive, plan and conduct intelligence research projects in line with intelligence requirements. Manage intelligence data and information as required. Contribute to procedural development and other administrative tasks, as required. Comply with all Group, Departmental, and Team policies. Deputise for the Intelligence Manager as required. PERSON SPECIFICATION Experienced professional in intelligence or a related field. Strong critical thinking and communication skills. Excellent written English, with experience in producing written reports for a corporate audience. Strong IT skills (MS Office) and the ability to implement new tools and technologies into workflows. Demonstrated proficiency in online research. Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks working to deadlines. Excellent attention to detail. Understanding of incident response.
