About the role

This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Safety Service Unit, Safety Directorate. This position is located in one of three Service Area Groups responsible for monitoring safety reports and analyzing data and risk indicators to identify root causes of hazards and safety issues. Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (FV-J or FG/GS-14) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. To be creditable, specialized experience must be at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation within the organization. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: Experience analyzing and evaluating systems designed to prevent runway collisions, incursions, and accidents. Experience developing reports and policies on safety and risk management programs to recommend policy and procedural corrections. Answer all questions to the best of your ability.
