The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's largest Digital hub for strategic Tech projects. Position Key Responsibilities Edenred Mobility EMEA is conducting a Transformation Program ('Summit') with a dedicated team of 100 product, tech, change, project management and migration people in charge of renewing our products and tech platforms across European countries. As part of the Summit program organized under SAFe, Edenred Mobility is looking for a Product Owner responsible for driving the delivery and evolution of one of its applications. The Product Owner operates within a Tribe that includes a Lead Product Manager, Product Managers, a Business Analyst, a Product Strategy Manager, a Product Designer, a Lead Product Owner, a Technical Lead, and a Release Train Engineer, and is supported by dedicated development squads. Each squad consists of a Product Owner, a Squad Lead, Development Engineers, and QA Engineers. Within the squad, the Product Owner works closely with the team to ensure product requirements are clearly understood and successfully delivered. The Product Owner will: Translate product requirements into clear, delivery-ready user stories and backlog items for the development team. Own backlog refinement and preparation to ensure the team can deliver with clarity and minimal ambiguity. Work closely with developers and QA throughout delivery to clarify requirements, resolve open questions, and ensure the solution matches the intended outcome. Drive day-to-day execution with the team, ensuring agreed requirements are delivered with quality, consistency, and predictability. Identify dependencies, cross-team impacts, and overlaps early to reduce rework and delivery risk. Contribute to release-related documentation and use product metrics and production learnings to improve backlog over time. Scope of the position Position in Organization Chart: Toll Squad Reporting: Reports to Summit's Toll Tribe Lead Product Owner Key stakeholders The Product Owner will interact with: Internal program stakeholders (departments within the entity or withing the Group): − Product Managers, Tech Leads, and Release Train Engineers − Business Architects, IT Solution Architects, Business Analysts, other Product Owners − Developers, Product Designers, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, and QA Engineers − Managers from Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Accounting External stakeholders : − Users representing the customers, mainly fleet managers and drivers − Third-party system owners Required skills & profile 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in an agile environment, working across both frontend and backend systems. Experience in a complex digital product environment. Knowledge and skills Strong understanding of customer needs, business goals, and product value. Ability to translate product requirements into clear, structured, and delivery-ready backlog items. Strong experience in backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization. Strong UX orientation, with the ability to work closely with Product Design to keep requirements, user experience, and implementation aligned. Good technical understanding of software delivery, including APIs, JSON, databases, integrations, and how frontend and backend systems work together. Ability to ask the right questions, challenge unclear assumptions, and ensure requirements are fully understood before and during development. Good judgment in making functional decisions, solving problems pragmatically, and using data to support prioritization and trade-offs. Ability to work effectively across multiple systems, teams, and dependencies. Practical knowledge of Agile ways of working, including Scrum Soft skills Strong ownership and accountability from clarification through delivery.
