About the role

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p As the Practitioner responsible for all patient care, the practitioner provides comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic care. This includes patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of a treatment plan follow up and practice management. In addition, professional responsibilities which promote and assure the overall welfare of the patient and integrity of the profession. Education & Experience: Bachelor of Science with certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics approved by the commission on accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or Baccalaureate Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics Certification/Licensure: Must obtain Texas State license to practice Orthotics within 12 months of hire date Prefer completed residency of Orthotics and/or Prosthetics CPR Cook Children's Medical Center is the cornerstone of Cook Children's, and offers advanced technologies, research and treatments, surgery, rehabilitation and ancillary services all designed to meet children's needs.
