Current Opportunity Posting: We are actively hiring for 1 opening . Applications submitted through this posting will be considered for the current vacancy, and may also be considered for future opportunities that align with a candidate's experience and interests. ๐Ÿ“ƒ About your Lead Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹, I'm Tam , Management Systems Director at NPX - your future lead! I am currently leading Management Systems and Nuclear QA at NPX. My background spans engineering, project management, and quality assurance across major nuclear projects. My passion is building systems and teams that work well in practice, not just on paper. I am looking forward to adding someone to our team who brings strong QA fundamentals and a proactive mindset to continually improve our systems and processes and provide support to other companies entering nuclear who require management systems. I cannot wait to help you succeed in this role and wherever your aspirations take you. ๐ŸŒŽ About Us NPX partners with nuclear utilities and new reactor projects to deliver innovative design engineering solutions that unlock performance. We combine decades of nuclear operation expertise with AI, digital tools, and lean processes, to help plants run safer, smarter, and more cost-effectively. Our Quality Assurance team scales this expertise through rigorous QA programs, audits, and continuous improvement practices that help nuclear utilities across Canada maintain the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. ๐Ÿง  The Role We are seeking a QA Specialist to support the execution and continuous improvement of our Nuclear Quality Management System (NQMS). In this role, you will lead by example, helping to inspire those around you while supporting the business in achieving its quality goals. You will contribute by carrying out compliance activities, supporting audits, managing non-conformance workflows, and keeping quality documentation up to date. Through this work, you will play a vital role in ensuring NPX maintains the standards our nuclear clients require. Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to client site in Bruce County as required by client needs. Salary Range: $100-130k (Exact compensation may vary) ๐ŸŽฏ What You will Drive Execute day-to-day compliance activities, draft document revisions, and track conformance to standards so nothing slips through the cracks. Plan, schedule, and support internal and external audits end-to-end by preparing the documents, coordinating stakeholders, and following findings through to resolution. Identify and document quality issues, recommend practical solutions, verify they have been implemented, and ensure any nonconforming work is carefully reviewed and approved before moving forward. Monitor quality performance against targets, pull together the data, and share clear, useful insights with the QA Director and leadership so everyone understands where things stand. Support and maintain our NQMS systems (like NPX's QA App), keep records up to date, help users navigate the tools, and coordinate updates to QA manuals for clients. Deliver and coordinate QA training, keep materials current, and track completion to make sure everyone understands expectations. Review and log client feedback, assess whether it points to a quality issue, escalate when needed, and feed those learnings into corrective actions to prevent repeat issues. Help create an environment where people feel comfortable raising concerns, flagging risks early, and reinforce a strong nuclear safety mindset in day-to-day work. Leverage technology solutions to further improve our support. Help expand our Nuclear QA as a service offering and deliver effective and efficient results to bring value to our customers. Have fun knowing you make a difference! โœจ What You Bring Technical Depth: You are familiar with CSA N299, CSA N286, and the Canadian nuclear regulatory framework. Experience or training in auditing, lead auditing, project management, root cause analysis, and technical writing, are strong assets. Results & Impact: You have supported audits, helped close findings, and improved processes-whether in nuclear or other QA environments. Communication & Craft: You are a clear, thoughtful communicator with strong technical writing skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to present findings to senior leadership, suppliers, or customers. Initiative & Safety Culture: You take ownership, speak up when something does not look right, and actively support human performance (HU) behaviours and a strong nuclear safety culture. When you see a gap or recurring issue, you do not wait-you help understand the cause so that effective actions can be taken to prevent recurrence. Cultural Amplification: You contribute to and strengthen our culture-bringing honesty to audit findings, generosity to training, and a "Day 1" mindset to continuously improve how we approach quality. ๐ŸŒฟ What You'll Find Here To do great work, you need to be well in mind, body
