ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Analysis, conceptualization, and design of AI driven systems targeting manufacturing processes and application error logs. Write the calculations and base codes based on the design and data validations Prepare documentations and progress reporting and/or dashboards, technical summaries and presentations of finding Provide regular update to the hiring manager on activities or deliverables. Assist in the analysis of engineering and manufacturing data to identify improvement opportunities Support process monitoring and optimization Work with engineers on tests and technical evaluations Participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projects This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum. REQUIRED: Currently pursuing a Master's Degree or A Bachelor's Degree in AI and Automation, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent Demonstrable proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio C#/C++ and other languages such as Python or Java. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Ability to work with large datasets and technical information - Detail-oriented with a structured and organized approach to tasks Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. PREFERRED: Basic knowledge of statistical process control, manufacturing processes, and the use of AI in manufacturing. Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or API development. A comprehensive understanding of industry-standard best practices in business analysis and related fields is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with real engineering and data analysis projects.
