Junior Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle recruiting activities for cleared and uncleared positions
• Source candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, referrals, and internal database (ATS)
• Typically manages 4-6 active requisitions, with flexibility to support additional hiring needs tied to new federal contract awards of varying size
• Support consistent sourcing activity each week to ensure healthy pipeline generation for priority roles
• Conduct initial recruiter screens to assess candidate qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
• Maintain accurate and timely data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by ensuring all candidate information, workflows, and documentation is up to date and accurate
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through consistent communication and follow-through
• Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, networking and other talent-focused initiatives

Requirements

• - 1-3 years of recruiting or staffing experience
• - Previous experience supporting government contracting or technical recruiting
• - Ability to successfully manage multiple open requisitions and recruiting activities in a fast-paced federal consulting environment
• - Strong communication and organizational skills
• - Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, and ability to effectively prioritize a high volume of recruiting activity
• - Proficiency with using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to source candidates, manage recruiting activity and build and maintain candidate pipelines
• - Ability to utilize creative sourcing strategies and search techniques, including Boolean searches
• - Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay proactive, maintain attention to detail, and follow through on recruiting activities and candidate communication
• - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• - Bachelor's degree preferred but not required based on experience

This role will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will work closely with Hiring Managers and leadership to identify, engage, and manage candidates throughout the hiring process. The Junior Recruiter will help shape the candidate's experience and contribute to the team's continued growth and success.
