Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Food Service Worker who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Food Service Worker, you will: - Be Responsible for preparing food and following standardized recipes 100% of the time - Be responsible for Stocking Items to be sold - Be responsible for adhering to HACCP guidelines. - Be responsible for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points - Follow Department Policies and Procedures on cleaning - Other Duties as Assigned (Such as dishwashing) Qualified candidates will possess: - High School diploma or GED, or relevant work experience - Minimum 1 year food service experience preferred; willing to train - ServSafe or be able to pass ServSafe within 60 days - Strong customer service skills - Able to handle a multi-task environment - Must be able to read and scale recipes - Must be able to speak and read English - Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs.) including mopping. Work Schedule: Employment Type: Part-time Hours per Week: 20hrs/week Typical Daily Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm, 6:00am - 2:00pm, 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:45pm - 8:00pm, 10:30am - 7:00pm Shift Type: Rotating Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekends. Days off Rotate Holiday Requirements: Required Follow company holiday calendar Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.79 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
