Responsibilities
- Manage and develop strategic accounts and major construction projects within the Romanian B2B market, including defining and implementing commercial, pricing, and portfolio strategies, while operating with a high degree of independence and autonomy.
- Build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships by engaging effectively at all organizational levels, from operational staff to executive leadership.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen combined with solid technical expertise or a keen interest in solution-based selling.
- Negotiate successfully with key stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by monitoring performance, adapting strategies, and driving continuous improvement.
- Plan and execute impactful customer visits and engagements.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while supporting innovation aligned with customer needs, sustainability, and productivity.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Account Management or a related role within the paint/coatings or construction-related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and foster long-term relationships.
- A collaborative mindset combined with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the paint or coatings industry.
- Proven ability to develop long-term, high-value projects involving multiple stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Experience working in a challenging B2B environment, ideally within the AC segment.
- Proficiency in English and the local language.
