Responsibilities

  • In this role you will:
  • Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls and emails regarding technical help, product application and selection, pricing and standard terms and conditions pertaining to the sale of the products.
  • Evaluate all calls and develop sales leads for the outside sales representative assisting with quotations support if needed.
  • Liaison and co-ordination with HAC / MTL UK internal departments and other Eaton business unit's entities to ensure accurate information is delivered to the customer on their orders
  • Provide all documentation requested by the customers. (Certificate of Conformance, Certificate of Origin).
  • Be familiar with competitor's products and prices and continuously increase knowledge of Eaton Crouse-Hinds products and their application advantages to customer needs.
  • Perform other Duties as assigned, from order management related functions to quoting.
  • Drive on-time delivery by working with manufacturing teams.
  • Manage information support required by customers.
  • Manage high volume of calls and emails each day.

  • Basic (Required) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR High School degree AND a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service environment.

  • SAP experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Eaton's EPG CHD MTL Measurement Technology Limited division is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. This hybrid position is based at our Houston, TX or Syracuse, NY facilities. Relocation is not provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $47000 - $69000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
