Enterprise Architect - Business & Technology Enablement Location: This Role is open to both Melbourne and Perth based candidates. Reports to : Technology, Data & Digital Director Type: Flexible (open to fractional at min. 3 days/week), or full time Role Purpose The Enterprise Architect connects business needs with technology solutions, shaping and governing architecture to ensure investments deliver measurable value. This hands‑on role engages early with stakeholders, defines solution direction, and provides pragmatic architectural leadership across the Technology, Data & Digital function. Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is essential. Key Accountabilities Business Partnership Act as a trusted advisor, engaging early to understand challenges and opportunities. Shape solution options with the Planning team and guide investment decisions. Translate business needs into clear, value‑focused architectural recommendations. Enterprise Architecture Maintain an enterprise-wide architecture across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security. Develop roadmaps with strong emphasis on D365, Azure, and related platforms. Simplify, standardise, and modernise the technology landscape. Embed security-by-design and align modernisation with cyber‑risk priorities. Solution Design & Delivery Provide hands‑on architectural leadership across initiatives. Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and delivery‑aware. Support teams through design reviews, integration decisions, and roadmap creation. Maintain secure reference architectures aligned to SOC2 and ISO27001. Platform & Technology Leadership Lead architectural direction across TDD Australia. Stay current with D365 evolution and emerging technologies (AI, automation, cloud). Run proof‑of‑concepts and ensure technology choices are cost‑effective. Governance & Influence Establish and uphold architecture standards and guardrails. Lead governance forums and drive alignment across business and delivery teams. Communicate architectural decisions clearly to senior stakeholders. Key Attributes Outcome‑driven, pragmatic, commercially aware Hands‑on architect comfortable across strategy and delivery Strong communicator able to simplify complexity Confident influencing senior stakeholders Security‑minded with strong understanding of identity and access principles Essential Skills & Experience Significant enterprise architecture experience in complex environments Strong Microsoft ecosystem knowledge Experience aligning business strategy with technology solutions Strong integration, cloud, and platform architecture capability Skilled stakeholder engagement and communication Understanding of SOC2, ISO27001, NIST CSF Tertiary degree in IT, Engineering, Business or related field TOGAF or equivalent Microsoft certifications (D365, Azure, Power Platform) Agile or delivery certifications (Agile, PRINCE2, PMP) Why Join Sodexo?
