THE JOB We are seeking a Senior Accountant I for the Live Nation Concerts division. This role supports core accounting operations, including event and general ledger accounting, in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO: Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring assigned deadlines are met. Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Maintain the general ledger and supporting balance sheet reconciliations for multiple venues. Prepare and review account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Analyze financial results and explain significant variances. Prepare and reconcile event profit and loss (P&L) reports following each event, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documentation in partnership with operations. Reconcile event financial results and investigate variances between event settlements and supporting documentation. Partner with the operations team to ensure timely processing of artist settlement payments. Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash activity to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Prepare information and supporting schedules for tax reporting processes. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and ensuring timely responses. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes through automation, standardization, and continuous process improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support operational initiatives. Assist with ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and special projects as assigned. WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes. Experience preparing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and performing account reconciliations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Experience with Oracle, Oracle Fusion, or similar ERP systems. Experience supporting accounting for multiple entities, locations, or business units preferred. CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
