Team Lead Master Data Management

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Master Data Management team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to established KPIs and SLAs.
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, validation, and governance of master data records across ERP and related business systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards.
• Drive data quality initiatives by monitoring performance metrics, conducting audits, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex data issues and support business operations effectively.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, standardization efforts, and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
• Support and coordinate system transitions, migrations, and transformation projects, ensuring data readiness and successful implementation.
• Act as the primary escalation point for master data-related issues and provide guidance on governance and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, business units, and external partners where applicable.
• Your Profile
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in Master Data Management, including at least 2 years in a team leadership role, preferably within a Shared Services, outsourcing, or global business services environment.
• Min. bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and master data processes.
• Experience supporting system transitions, migrations, or transformation projects is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering operational excellence and data integrity.
